Historical Memories: Day 1

Hello! I am back from my historical memories in Gettysburg/Washington D.C.
Boy, have I learned a lot! Before I get ahead of myself, I will start from the very beginning.
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania is a very historic destination. Many things have been mantained and kept from the actual civil war fought in Gettysburg. My favorite part of this day was the tour we had on the battle field.
This monument is a soldier who actually was from Michigan. The tour guide knew we were from there and gave us fascinating facts about what part they had in it.Thankfully, me and my friend Christianna are still alive from this canon... :)
The view of the battle field. Pictures doesn't due it justice, this was remarkable. Earlier that day, we were at the Gettysburg museum and we looked at a painting (called the circlorama, it was a painting in a room with everything on every side) and you could picture it.
Me looking over the battle field... now may I say, I hadn't slept for hours and was in a bus for over 12 hours! So I have an excuse for looking exhausted.
Me again! The pink by my face, is my sister's beautiful arm... thanks sissy for making this picture complete. ;)
Now, this is how random I am. I live in MI and I took a picture of a tulip... Yes, I did... My Dad thought I was nuts. This was the first time in my life that I saw guys taking picture of flowers. :D haha it was funny!
